Multiple slabs of chalk re...Yes, it was a bit nuts. Multiple slabs of chalk repeatedly fracturing off deeper and deeper in the same locations. I think it might have been due to the heavy rains absorbed into the chalk freezing and destabilizing the chalk in certain areas.
